I hear songs playing on the radio
with joy of the Christmas lights.
Tunes playing that we each know,
The Drummer Boy and Silent Night.
Many sing them without knowing
what the songs are all about.
They sit singing of shopping and going
while Christmas is a different rout.
Songs as the Drummer boy playing on the radio
with words of gifts from the heart
Silent Night then comes on the radio
that sings of the very first start.
Jesus Christ was born to Mary and Joseph
and was to be Gods only Son.
His Love would ring out to the deepest depths
that the beginning has then begun.
The drummer boy was a lowly lad
that gave the gift of his drum.
This was all that the drummer boy had
to give Jesus Christ The Son.
Mary looked at the drummer boy playing
and said look at Jesus smile.
The Baby Jesus was sweetly saying
your gift will go many a mile.
Silent Night is a song of this joy
when Mary was laden with The Son.
She told Joseph of this baby Boy
that Gods Holy Spirit had begun.
They then journeyed many a mile
to a manger where Jesus was born.
So now as you hear Silent Night won't you smile
with His love from that Christmas morn.
